Megaman II (Capcom) (Nintendo (US Version))
A totally amazing platform game! It ranks as one of the greatest NES games I've ever seen.
Probotector (Konami) (Nintendo (EU Version))
Not bad, but not particularly brilliant either. Look at other Nintendo titles before buying this.
Pinbot (Nintendo) (Nintendo (US Version))
Pinbot is simply the finest pinball game on any system! A must for fans of the silverball.
Snake, Rattle 'N Roll (Nintendo) (Nintendo (US Version))
If fun and frolics are what you're after, this is definitely the thing for you - rush out and demand a copy now!
Super Off Road (Tradewest) (Nintendo (US Version))
It really annoys me that Super Sprint never came out on the NES, but the release of Super Off-Road more than makes up for it!
Moonwalker (Sega) (Sega Master System (EU Version))
An accomplished Jackson licence begging for a more varied game design.
Gain Ground (Sega) (Sega Master System (EU Version))
A good game in principal marred by the complete lack of challenge and excitement.
Castle Of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (Sega) (Sega Master System (EU Version))
One of the greatest Sega releases we've seen for a long while. Go get it as soon as possible!
Gazza's Football (Empire) (Amstrad CPC464+/GX4000)
A potentially brilliant football game let down by several annoying faults.
Switchblade (Gremlin Graphics) (Amstrad CPC464+/GX4000)
Immensely playable, with varied challenges and subtle changes in background. Addictive in the best possible way.
Pipe Dream (Bullet-Proof) (Game Boy)
A superb Gameboy title that'll have you tearing your hair out with frustration... Incredibly addictive.
Fortress Of Fear (Acclaim) (Game Boy)
It's a shame that this features such blurry scrolling, because otherwise it's a great game. The difficulty level is nicely pitched and there's plenty of challenge.
This is a reasonable conversion but the gameplay never varies and the graphics, while accurate, don't stretch the capabilities of the Gameboy at all.
The Amazing Spider-Man (LJN) (Game Boy)
This game impresses from the start with its incredible intro graphics... and the rest of the game maintains these high standards.
Hard Drivin' (Tengen) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
The lack of decent sound, variety and long-term challenge ruin an otherwise impressive conversion. For ardent coin-op fans only.
Battle Squadron (Electronic Arts) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
A tough and addictive vertical scroller, which could have done with some better power-up weapons. Recommended to hardened blasting freaks.
