It was only a matter of time before Prince Of Persia appeared on the Mega CD, but unfortunately it doesn't generate the excitement it should.

To owners of the first, and ace, EA Hockey, I would say keep your cash, since the two are very similar but to anyone uninitiated in puck-related antics - Get!

Nothing beats a great beat-'em-up, and this is one of the best I've seen.

This rock 'ard game is still one of the most difficult Megadrive titles around.

A decidedly substandard shoot-'em-up with unspectacular graphics and unexciting gameplay.

Truxton (Sega) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))

Despite the massive amount of vertically scrolling blasters out for the Megadrive, Truxton remains a competent example of the genre.

Impossible Mission (US Gold) (Sega Master System (EU Version))

An all-time classic combining top-notch graphics, animation and sound with deep and compelling gameplay... One of the best games ever written!

Wonderboy III (Sega) (Sega Master System (EU Version))

The immense depth of this game is amazing... Probably the best Master System game ever!

Gauntlet (Sega) (Sega Master System (EU Version))

As fresh and exciting now as it was the day we first plugged it into the Master System.

Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))

Leaves the others on the starting grid... One of the greatest road racers money can buy.

Fastest One (Nitsibutsu) (Sega Mega Drive (JP Version))

The biggest pile o' cack yet to materialise in cartridge form. Controls are unresponsive and unrealistic and the racing action is about as exciting and satisfying as smashing your head against the wall.

Ferrari Grand Prix (Flying Edge) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))

A lame, stunted effort at racing... I'm not surprised that Ferrari haven't been able to get their hands on the World Championship if their cars handle as bad as this game suggests.

Megatrax (Namco) (Sega Genesis)

A split-screen scrolling effort, with one or two players taking their quad-bikes around a number of visually deficient dirt tracks... No real feeling of speed, dodgy control response... Completely pathetic, steer well clear.

OutRun (Sega) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))

This version captures the graphics and sound of the original quite well, but something is severely lacking on the gameplay front. Experienced gamers are bound to finish it in one go and even novices will finish it within one session.

Road Rash (Electronic Arts) (Sega Genesis)

An essential game... The urgency of the race is exciting enough, but being able to grab a club and mercilessly bludgeon your opponents off the road makes it even better!

Super Monaco GP (Sega) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))

The graphics and 3D all convey the feeling of speed incredibly well, and the gameplay is nigh-on perfect with the car responding to joypad command perfectly.

Definitely worth getting if you enjoyed the coin-op.

Turbo OutRun (Sega) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))

True to form, Tiertex have made a complete pig's ear of the Megadrive conversion... Bears little resemblance to the arcade version.
