Ghouls 'N Ghosts

Sir Arthur, resigned to the inevitability of having his princess girlfriend kidnapped by Lucifer, jumps into action once more in this scrolling platform game-cum-shoot-'em-up. A conversion of the fab Capcom coin-op, Ghouls 'N Ghosts boasts loads of extra weapons and terrifying bosses!

What We Said Then

Jaz: Even though you'll be cursing with frustration, it's so good you just keep on coming back for more.

Ghouls 'N Ghosts

Matt: What a brilliant game! The graphics are wonderful and the sound is great.

What We Say Now

Jaz: I still play this game now if I want a challenge - it's great. Playability should drop a couple of percent and the overall down to 90%. It's definitely still a Megagame even today.

Rich: This rock 'ard game is still one of the most difficult Megadrive titles around, well suited to those who completed Sonic the first day they had it. I think the audio-visuals are a tad outdated these days. I'd put graphics down to 85% and sound down to 80%. Playability is definitely too high, down to 85% for that. Lastability is fine, but I think overall I'd give this around 88%
