Rocket Roger (Alligata) (Commodore 64)
Rocket Roger is further proof that there is plenty of programming talent left at Sheffield-based Alligata, despite the departure of one Tony Crowther Superstar.
Di's Baby (Bad Taste) (Commodore 64)
This game is for bad taste enthusiasts everywhere. Loyalists will hate it, Willie Hamilton supporters will love it.
Eddie Kidd's Jump Challenge (Digital Integration) (Commodore 64)
Bound to be a great hit with Eddie Kidd fans.
Bruce Lee (US Gold) (Commodore 64)
Bruce Lee was the first of US Gold's really big hints when it was launched on the Atari earlier this year. Now C64 owners can get in on the action.
Fighter Pilot (Digital Integration) (Commodore 64)
Fighter Pilot is the best flight game now available for the C64.
Orpheus In The Underworld (Sterling) (Commodore 64/128)
A good, colourful version of a well defined game.
Stock Car (Micro Power) (Commodore 64)
Rollicking fun for those of you out there who get bored with the Scalextric getting bent and buckled all the time!
Chartbuster (Alligata) (Commodore 64)
Devastatingly good value; comprising five games on one tape.
Frenzy (Micro Power) (Commodore 64)
The lure of this game is inexplicable. It's ridiculously simple and yet totally absorbing
Hooper (Calisto) (Commodore 64)
I don't know what the point of this is. More originality, less repedalling of old ideas please, software houses.
Choc-A-Block Charlie (Lothlorien) (Commodore 64)
This tricky blighter is a real headscratcher: my progress was painfully slow, excuse me while I practice.
Strike Force (Bubble Bus) (Commodore 64)
Graphics and sound are ok but not on the same peak as Beach Head.
Warlok (Callisto) (Commodore 64)
The graphics are not from the very edge of innovation but from what I've seen so far they deserve the thumbs-up.
Cave Fighter (Bubble Bus) (Commodore 64)
I suppose this is a ledge, as opposed to a platform, hopping game. There are ropes to climb, leaps to be made and sixteen alien cavern-creepers to startle (well, amuse) you.
Kokotoni Wilf (Elite) (Commodore 64)
If you are dedicated enough then there is plenty of scope to stretch your wings.
Jinn Genie (Micromega) (Commodore 64)
The graphics are fair enough and you do get a helping of Eastern music.
Could this be thought of as an archetypal Adventure Game in a primeval, pure state? Perhaps.
Mr. Robot (Beyond) (Commodore 64)
Good, brazen use of colour plus the ability to select any screen makes this a bumper fun package.
