Specifically Spectrum (Spectrum 16K/48K)

The graphics don't need to be anything special as the action is fast and the sound relentless.

Apples In Distant Lands (Apple II)

A thoroughly enjoyable game and would be fun for the novice.

Multigames 2 (Oric 16K)

Nothing very original... These games have been enjoyed on computers since their first beginnings.

Two Gun Turtle (Oric 48K)

A pleasing game, though limited by its simplicity. It makes good use of the Oric's sound capability, and it's fast, though not too difficult to master.

Quintic Warrior (Commodore 64)

If you don't have a game of this ilk already you should consider this one as an addition to your software library.

Mothership (Commodore 64)

A fast and furious game, that takes some getting used to.

Usborne Books (European Machines)

Dragon Machine Language For The Absolute Beginner (Dragon 32)

This is a comprehensive book, useful for anyone trying machine code, which need not be harder than Basic... The descriptions in this section tend to be complex, and may need repeat readings.
