Buffy The Vampire Slayer (THQ)
A bit disappointing really. Buffy certainly looks good, and she's got some pretty nifty moves under her size eight belt, but wandering about slaying vampires just gets a bit samey after a while, and there really doesn't seem to be that much to it.
Extremely captivating and addictive due to the superb graphics and the challenges that arise.
Roland Garros French Open (Cryo Interactive)
If you are a keen tennis player you will find this game a challenge, particularly if you choose the highest difficulty setting. Unfortunately, it has the potential to become tedious and frustrating if you let it.
Austin Powers: Oh Behave! (Take 2 Interactive)
It has to be made clear that this game's not for little kids, being more than a little naughty, but to be honest, if you're not saving up already then you're just not swinging baby, yeah!
Austin Powers: Welcome To My Underground Lair (Take 2 Interactive)
Diabolically attractive. It's worth at least one million dollars or £24.99 of anyone's money.
Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 (Acclaim)
This game is nothing new, it has very few original qualities and it can become frustrating if you are not used to playing racing games on the Game Boy.
If you're a seasoned videogame player then you will have undoubtedly come across very similar games in the past, but this new version from Konami has enough new elements and pizzazz to make it work.
For Backgammon enthusiasts with no friends, this could be the game that you've been waiting for.
The Flintstones: Burgertime In Bedrock (Swing Entertainment)
This is just way too difficult, and not interesting enough a challenge to make you want to persevere after you get killed so very easily every time.
Tweety's High-Flying Adventure (Kemco)
Suitably upbeat and quirky platform fun. But, although the game is compelling, it only takes an afternoon to complete.
Visually very reminiscent of Zelda, with the action viewed through a top-down two-dimensional pseudo-3D perspective that at times can be a little confusing... In addition, due to bad translation, half the time the characters end up speaking total rubbish.
Caterpillar Construction Zone (Mattel)
Simply brimming with charm and, although it can get a little repetitive, this is a brilliant game.
Konami Collection No. 4 (Konami)
The only game with any dignity is Belmont's Revenge which, although awkward and jerky, offers some kind of challenge! With the other games, chances are you'll be bored before you even start.
