Groovy bourgeois gaming on your Game Boy

Backgammon

What can you say when a videogame company goes to the great trouble and expense of creating a Game Boy version of Backgammon? If you've never played Backgammon, here's your chance. If you love Backgammon, you'll love this game!

Backgammon is the oldest game in recorded history, played by emperors and nobility since Roman times. A strategy board game stretching back to Roman times, Backgammon is a great test of intelligence. The Game Boy Color version has been made as fun as possible, with scarily real people to play against. If that's not good enough, you can hook the console up to another pal via the link cable, settle back with your hookah and some comfy slippers and thrash them!

Second Opinion

What's all this got to do with pigs? I was really looking forward to a great game starring a pig called Gammon! Grr!

Backgammon

Though JVC has tried very hard to make this classic game as much fun as possible it is clear that once you have got to grips with how the game of Backgammon works you'll probably want to graduate to the real thing.

Though for Backgammon enthusiasts with no friends this could be the game that you've been waiting for. Go on, give it a whirl!
