Extractors (Millennium) (Amiga CD32)
Extractors is a disappointment. There are not enough new ideas, or enough challenges to keep you playing for long.
You cannot possibly be prepared for the unprecedented, ring-stinging, evil stain from Satan's own hot pants that is Akira.
Super League Manager (Audiogenic) (Amiga 1200)
Super League Manager is kind of quirky, and often interesting, but doesn't really offer enough to warrant a recommendation, especially as there are so many other excellent footy management games around.
Dawn Patrol (Empire) (Amiga 1200)
The best game written with the Rowan engine yet, especially if you don't own either Overlord or Reach For The Skies.
There are a lot of problems with this. It does attempt an exciting cinematic style, but without a fast 3D engine, the show is dull.
International Test Series Cricket (Grandslam) (Amiga 500/600)
I'm sure real cricket nuts will find enjoyment here. The general public might feel a bit differently though.
Theme Park (Electronic Arts) (Amiga CD32)
A great game, with a playable economic simulation running in the background that actually convinces you that you're not only running a Park and building rides, but also your own little branches of Big-Time Fries, Pokey Cola and all the rest.
Dragonstone (Core) (Amiga CD32)
If it wasn't for a few irritating factors, this would have been a great game. Shame.
Benefactor (Psygnosis) (Amiga CD32)
If the simple-looking graphics and naff tunes don't put you off, there's a clever puzzle game waiting for you underneath.
Skeleton Krew (Core) (Amiga CD32)
This could and should have been a lot better. Another flower whose petals are brown and flimsy, and whose stalk is starting to wane...
Heart Of China (Kixx XL) (Amiga 500/600)
If you're looking for a budget graphic adventure, you could do a lot worse than this, but you could also do a lot better - most notably with Monkey Island 2.
Jurassic Park (The Hit Squad) (Amiga 500/600)
An enjoyable romp that will appeal to film and game fans alike.
Award Winners Platinum (Empire) (Amiga 500/600)
Three games, each of which originally scored 90 percent plus.
The best game of the Ishar trilogy... The plot, though essentially linear, is more imaginative than most, and you never really feel you're being forced along one set path.
Bubble Trubble (F1 Licenceware) (Amiga 500)
Apart from straining your eyes a bit, it's an excellent game.
Zaxxon (Online PD) (Amiga 500)
A spot-on clone of the original... For the nostalgic, goes down very nicely with a can of Vimto and a Human League album.
Aquanaut (F1 Licenceware) (Amiga 500)
Very hard to fault. The baddies, level graphics, weapons, map layout and, well, everything really, have either been planned perfectly, or have accidentally fallen into place.
Ok, this isn't all that different from other Tanks games but it does offer an excellent opportunity to go well over the top with the explosions. Good stuff.
GR.A.C. inc Lethal Formula (F1 Licenceware) (Amiga 500)
Definitely for you if you've ever fancied creating your own Guybrush outing! Very clever indeed.
