I doubt if you will come across a more diverse and outrageous collection of life forms as those you will encounter in command of the Starship Pegasus. Your mission is to make treaties with these creatures in order to exploit their planets for as many energy, technology and mineral points as you can obtain.

If they prove unfriendly and are lesser beings you may take a chance and open fire on their planet, exploiting it after their destruction. Underestimate their intelligence, however, and you may find yourself under attack!

For the seasoned campaigner there are over 100 quadrants to explore, one quadrant being chosen for each game. All have their own star systems which in turn have their own planets. Some of these will be uninhabited and make easy pickings.

Starship Pegasus

Your journey is not necessarily a smooth one as space marauders are always waiting to launch an attack. These make frustratingly evasive opponents in an exchange of fire.

Graphics are not a main feature of this program, but where used are effective.

If you survive your mission you may be awarded a medal - but not always, as my husband found out when he beamed down to a planet, was granted immortality but then tortured for eons!
