WWF European Rampage (Ocean) (Commodore 64/128)
There's nothing to keep you going back for more in this one. Indeed, it seems distinctly odd to have a sequel that actually offers less than the original game.
Pipe Mania (Touchdown) (Commodore 64/128)
A great game... An essential game... Just buy it, play it and see for yourself.
Hudson Hawk (The Hit Squad) (Commodore 64/128)
All-action fun that needs a bit of brain power to solve.
Bangkok Knights And The Last Ninja (Again Again) (Commodore 64/128)
Bangkok Knights is a great forgotten classic, while Last Ninja is not quite the stunner I remembered but still pretty good.
Spitfire '40 And Strike Force Harrier (Again Again) (Commodore 64/128)
Flight sims? Maybe, but only if you want to experience what it's like in a glider on a very calm day.
Smash TV (The Hit Squad) (Commodore 64/128)
A fabulous blastathon... Loads of nasties and tons of firepower add up to the most violent game ever.
Pit-Fighter (The Hit Squad) (Commodore 64/128)
As lung-thumpers go, Pit-Fighter ain't bad... But the weird graphics and jumpy scrolling make the later stages of the game virtually unplayable. Strictly beat-'em-fans only, everybody else steer well clear.
Sceptre Of Baghdad (Atlantis) (Commodore 64/128)
It could never be called exciting, but it does hold the attention. The music, graphics and sound effects help you to forget that you're actually playing an adventure.
Playdays (Friendly Learning) (Commodore 64/128)
A well thought-out, efficiently-executed educational program.
Magic Rufus (Alternative) (Commodore 64/128)
I hate to admit it, but this is actually rather cute. Large levels and eight of them too.
Dalek Attack (Admiral) (Commodore 64/128)
This is strictly one for the die-hard fans only, and they deserve better than this. Sheesh, even El Dorado fans deserve better than this.
Street Fighter 2 (U. S. Gold) (Commodore 64/128)
It's not graphically stunning, the machine chugs on occasions, the manual's pretty hopeless and the one-player mode is too easy. But played against a mate this series of knock-about comic book bouts is excellent entertainment.
Superstar Seymour (Codemasters) (Commodore 64/128)
Wow! Sergeant Seymour is an excellent game, and the others are pretty good too.
Lethal Weapon (Ocean) (Commodore 64/128)
All very platformy, with a shooty-jumpy element... Everything (aside from the comically-amusing collision detection on some of the platforms) works smoothly and without any real problems.
All American Basketball (Zeppelin Games) (Commodore 64/128)
This isn't really a basketball game. It's a footie game with a couple of minor changes (mostly to the graphics). It ain't bad, but it doesn't really offer anything new.
Wrestling Superstars (Codemasters) (Commodore 64/128)
The graphics are big and bold and there's plenty of crowd encouragement disguised as a hissing noise.
