Knuckles (Continental) (Memotech)

Well-written, though rather expensive... For some reason the monsters and the player are depicted using the graphic shapes from another Memotech game, Blobbo.

Crazy Cliff (Stainless) (TI99/4A)

A frustrating, and, judging by the spelling of "alfa lock", American, game with reasonable graphics.

Sloopy's Christmas (Sceptre) (TI99/4A)

The quality of the title graphics far exceeds that of the games' graphics, which are just adequate.

Caesar The Cat (Mirrorsoft) (BBC Model B)

Maddeningly addictive and challenging... Should be in everyone's software collection.

Warship (JLP) (Oric 1/Oric 48K)

This is a drag... Very repetitive and gets monotonous after the first game.

Nemo (Continental) (Memotech)

Sound effects are simple but adequate; the game is quite addictive, but it is a shame that it's not a genuinely original program.

Cribbage (Micro-Aid) (BBC Model B)

Has that certain something which makes a game addictive.

Gatecrasher (Quicksilva) (Acorn Electron)

An enjoyable game with simple but good graphics... The ease of playing makes it a game for all ages.

The Solar System (Eagle Soft) (Spectrum 48K)

The notes make it clear that the information has come from astronomy text books... It will be quickly out-dated, but Eagle Soft promises an upgrade sheet.

Cortes (L' Ensouleiado) (Spectrum 48K)

Graphics, type and sound could be much improved.

A great program - making good use of the Spectrum's potential in graphics and sound.

Space Command (Virgin) (Spectrum 48K)

Sound is adequate, and, if you haven't had your fill of zap-kapow, you should enjoy it.

Message From Andromeda (Interceptor Micros) (Spectrum 48K/128K)

I was quite happy to be shot and leave Andromeda to the androids. Fair use of graphics and no sound.
