To play it is to appreciate it... The only criticism could be that it is perhaps a little too difficult!

Most of what it does could be done just as well with a good old low-technology pencil and paper.

Vastly overpriced... The sort of game that one might like to tap in from a listing in a magazine on a wet winter's night.

The action is very smooth, and once you have got used to the controls the game is a lot of fun.

The game is well produced, loads easily and runs smoothly.

A good tape, but slightly overpriced.

Cosmic Raiders (Mikro-Gen) (Spectrum 16K)

High-quality graphics, and the game is fast and great fun to play. Highly recommended.

Black Star (Quicksilva) (Sinclair ZX81)

Effortless loading, responsive controls, nice effects, and a high-score table, but all this can't compensate for lack of excitement.

Astro Blaster (Quicksilva) (Spectrum 16K)

This game, together with Frenzy (a sort of sister tape) will make compulsive playing for the space/action addict.

Martian Raider (Romik) (Commodore Vic 20)

Not a bad game... I felt that the incentive to win was lacking and the game really amounted to a test of endurance.

Ocean Trader (Quicksilva) (Sinclair ZX81)

Unlike some games, this one really makes you think before you risk all your worldly goods!

Champions (Peaksoft) (Dragon 32)

The novelty soon wore off and the routine of management made it hard to persist.

I don't go in much for predictions, but I have a feeling that this game will get high in the top ten, and stay there.
