When one considers that the maximum number of games present even in some Beau Jolly releases was twelve, PD Games #11 is quite simply a brilliant compilation.
Charlie Chan Visits The Wock Factory
Lose all of your lives and you get a 'Monty Python'-style foot crush demo (like on Jet Set Willy) before you are invited to try again by 'plessing space' (intentional Chinese l for r).
Not really a disc I would consider a must-have, but two new games to add to the ever-growing archives.
The game sometimes appears not to notice that you pressed a movement key, leaving your worm to plough mercilessly into scenery or the surrounding wall.
The scrolling cars are neat, as is the perspective view as you accelerate up behind them.
This game could easily have held its own as a fully commercial release.
Easily better than much of the professionally released rubbish for sale in 1985.
Decidedly underwhelming.
Could have more than held its own as a full-blown release - it really is an extremely engaging little game.
Parallel game-play, a huge and complex puzzle to solve, great graphics, good sound and enduring lastability.
