Acorn Programs #2 (Acorn Programs)
A lot of people will never have seen any of these games... I recommend you take a look, and (very cautiously) I give the disc at least half marks.
Play this disc, linger over the three great games, and pay a passing nod to the other two.
It is great that Aabatron is now available, if it hadn't been rediscovered, it would sadly not have been a great loss.
A very polished PD disc which, because of its rather spartan description elsewhere on the 'Net, has been rather unfortunately overlooked until now.
Sound is minimal with a few blips as the guests meander around.
Daniel Pugh's Music Demo World
An exceptional work, and possibly one of the very best things that ever has been produced for the expanded Elk.
The interface is far too difficult to use and, without a complete rewrite of the manual, many people will give up in sheer frustration long before they reach the stage where they could see it in action.
To Hell In A Hamper (J. J. Guest)
The interaction between your character and Mr. Booby, standing sullenly in one corner of the balloon (with an overcoat literally bulging with swag) is truly delightful.
It's immensely fun just to play around with this and build up your own collection of galleries!
Danosoft Collection (Danosoft)
With the possible exception of Percy's Revenge, these programs may count as the most worthy of being checked out that we have seen this year.
