Batman: The Movie (Ocean) (Amiga 500)
Five incredible levels provide a substantial challenge, but even if you complete it, you're going to keep playing this for a long time.
Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade: The Action Game (US Gold) (Commodore 64/128)
An attractive and playable game. Pity about the Spectrum status panel.
Star Trek: The Promethean Prophecy (MGA SoftCat/Simon and Schuster) (Commodore 64)
Even non-Trekkies will enjoy this classic adventure.
Cosmic Pirate (Byte Back) (Commodore 64/128)
Compared to the chronic simplicity of most budget releases this a welcome surprise, and highly recommended.
Wizball (The Hit Squad) (Commodore 64/128)
One of the most original games ever written, it's also among the best shoot-'em-ups ever to grace home computers.
Crystal Castles (Kixx) (Commodore 64/128)
Although repetitive and initially difficult to control, using diagonals, this is simple, uncomplicated fun which is well worth buying on budget.
Kendo Warrior (Byte Back) (Commodore 64)
A top-notch budget release... The backgrounds are very nicely detailed and the sprites aren't bad either.
World Series Baseball (The Hit Squad) (Commodore 64/128)
Highly recommended, and good preparation for seeing all the new baseball movies coming out now.
Soldier Of Light (Rad) (Commodore 64/128)
However many you shoot, there's always more, and the man is awkward to move fast enough to give you a fair chance.
Power Drift (Activision) (Commodore 64/128)
The speed of the game and rush of oncoming cars and hills is enough to keep your stomach hanging in mid-air for most of the race!
