I have found that my procedures are never portable between programs - anything low-level enough is usually on a par with standard Basic functions.

Video's Revenge (Budgie)

The general presentation is excellent with title pages and high score charts that slide on and off the screen.

Introducing Geography (BBC Soft)

The whole package represents an excellent buy with exciting potential.

Boffin (Addictive Games)

The ladders and levels section of the arcade market is very crowded but I feel that Professor Boffin has sufficient originality to succeed against all the competition.

Provides a flexible and very convincing simulation of chemical reactions and diffusions which no book or even video can hope to compete with.

Recorder Tutor (Mupados)

Few resourceful teachers should fail to see the advantages of such a program as this.

Battlefields (BBC Soft)

I do not believe that there is yet a true wargame available for the BBC Micro of a standard acceptable to serious wargamers, but Battlefields is certainly leading the way.
