Street Fighter II (U. S. Gold)

You can believe the hype... One of the best beat-'em-ups ever... The huge, well-animated sprites and excellent gameplay make this a game to be reckoned with.

Transarctica (Daze)

A massive, sprawling adventure featuring trains and mammoths instead of the usual dungeons and dragons... Addictive enough to keep you tucked up with your ST for weeks on end.

Dalek Attack (Admiral)

There's the odd smattering of attractive background graphics but otherwise this is a complete waste of a licence with real potential.

Raving Mad (U. S. Gold)

Three violence-free games for the price of one can't be all that bad... but only Rodland has the gameplay to grab you.

Campaign (Empire)

Has an alarming tendency to crash... and it's boring.

WWF European Rampage (Ocean)

Unbelievable. The gameplay's useless, it's unbelievably repetitive, and it's got next to nothing to do with the WWF.

Kids Pack (Alternative)

Not necessary for children, but a good variety of game styles. Both Postman Pat and Count Duckula are good for an hour or two, but The Munsters is horrible.

Thomas The Tank Engine (Alternative)

All very jolly and surprisingly playable. Instant appeal right across the board.

Bubble Dizzy (Codemasters)

Codemasters released the Dizzy Collection and Dizzy's Excellent Adventures a while back - Bubble Dizzy is not the best of the series.

Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade (Kixx)

Aside from the novelty of seeing Indy squeezed into a scout's uniform and watching the screen get darker as your torch burns out, Last Crusade has little to commend it.

Crazy Cars II (Titus)

This is unplayable, unfathomable rubbish. It's hard to believe this game is related to Crazy Cars 3.

Knight Force (EDOS)

Dampen an ordinary household tissue. Lay it across your upturned face and sing Rod Stewart's Do you think I'm sexy? - this is more fun than playing Knight Force.

Adi French 11/12 And 12/13 (Europress)

These programs are written to a pretty high standard and have obviously had a lot of thought put into them. Highly recommended.

Let's Spell: First 500 Words (Squirrel Soft)

A very powerful program.
