This game is achingly wonderful and its name is set to become firmly implanted in the minds of football enthusiasts as the ultimate in ST sports simulations.

Crazy Cars III (Titus)

This game is fast, involving and immensely challenging offering the right balance of arcade skills and strategic thinking.

D/Generation (Mindscape)

An entertaining, addictive game that also manages to be annoying and incredibly frustrating at the same time.

Pushover (Ocean)

A wonderful achievement. Pushover has humour, playability, durability, originality and a beautiful simplicity which instantly melts the sour taste of the hype - which, in these cynical times, no one believes anyway.

Fascination (Coktel Vision/Digital Integration)

Slick, rather predictable and at the same time strangely enjoyable.

Grandad And The Quest For The Holey Vest (Caledonia PD)

Puzzles are logical and well thought-out and the graphics are excellent. It's only let down by a tedious maze section.

Jetpac (Budgie)

Lovingly presented fun... Alien blob thingies float around being obstructive, and you have to give them a good zapping.

The Obscure Naturalist (Goodmans PD)

A well-crafted adventure... the writing is fairly rich, and liberally sprinkled with dry humour. The puzzles are logical-ish too and the graphics appealing.

Dark Carpathian (New Age PD)

The objects are well-designed with the odd spot of animation thrown in and you can understand the puzzles without any problem.

Michael's Big Adventure (Merlin PD)

Gripes aside, this Big Adventure should provide an hour or three of entertainment.

High Fidelity Dreams (New Age PD)

A sample with a vaguely '70s disco feel to it, which is cool. Quite what you're supposed to do with it after a listen or two is anybody's guess!

The Mad Demo (ST Club)

Mad? Not really - slightly eccentric between two and six on Wednesday afternoons, more like.

Kidney Bean Demo (Riverdene PD)

Ultimately of little interest to anyone apart from GFA Basic enthusiasts.

Dynamite Music Demo (Caledonia PD)

The STE has heaps of potential in the sound department - shame this didn't really manage to make the most of it.
