It's a fickle old world, isn't it? Especially in the field of youth-orientated TV. Remember Wired? The Mad Demo goes and gives us a taster of the wonderful graphics that introduced the program as well as a fairly long, if rather jumbled sounding, sample. It's a short loop that you'll want to see over and over again until you get completely bored with it - fourth time round, probably. Then that's it, back to the disk box with all the other demos you've run once.

The Mad Demo uses the extra capabilities of the STE but doesn't do anything too impressive with them. Mad? Not really - slightly eccentric between two and six on Wednesday afternoons, more like.
