Thunder Hawk (Core Design) (Sega CD (US Version))
A shining example of the Mega-CD's capabilities though it falls short slightly on the gameplay front.
Snake Rattle 'N Roll (Rare) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
An old but fun game that has translated well onto the Megadrive.
Gauntlet IV (Tengen) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
This game is so deep you're gonna need diving gear. Buy, buy, you fools!
Puyo Puyo (Compile) (Sega Mega Drive (JP Version))
The amount of satisfaction available in this game is potentially endless. Add this to your collection of Megadrive cartridges or forever miserable be!
Keio Flying Squadron (Victor Entertainment) (Sega CD (US Version))
Although it doesn't make great use of the Mega-CD hardware, this is still a brilliant shoot-'em-up. Thoroughly recommended.
Fantastic Dizzy (Codemasters) (Sega Genesis)
Nowhere near as fanciful as the title suggests... It quickly becomes a bore.
NHLPA Hockey 94 (Electronic Arts) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
Bar the multi-player game, it's the same old thing really, with no outstanding new features. If you're going to play on your own, stick with NHLPA '93.
The Addams Family (Ocean) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
One of the most derivative, unoriginal platform games we've seen for months.
Sonic CD (Sega) (Sega CD (US Version))
This is still rather fab, but doesn't really compare gameplay-wise with Sonic II.
Cosmic Spacehead (Codemasters) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
An intriguing blend of arcade and adventure... Things got better the further I got into it.
PGA Tour Golf (Tengen) (Sega Master System (EU Version))
An admirable conversion of the incredible Megadrive game.
Spiderman: X-Men Arcade's Revenge (Flying Edge) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
A pretty decent platform game, but it's a conversion of a year-old Super NES game and there are better examples of the genre available.
Micro Machines (Codemasters) (Sega Game Gear (EU Version))
The most playable and consistently addictive game ever to hit the Game Gear.
Ecco (Sega) (Sega Game Gear (EU Version))
This is an outstanding title... The gameplay is of a depth and complexity that is rare on the Game Gear.
