Beeb-Art (Quicksilva) (BBC Model B)
The presentation of the tape is excellent, but the instrucion book could have been better structured.
Melbourne Draw (Melbourne House) (Spectrum 48K)
Not only allows you to draw impressive title pages, but can be used to create UDGs, background scenes for games, and specialist drawings such as circuit diagrams.
Easy Graphics (Hexagon) (BBC B/B+/Master 128)
The user manual is very easy to understand and all program options are accessed by single or CTRL key inputs.
Death Cruise (Virgin) (Dragon 32)
An entertaining game. My family particularly enjoyed the multi-player version.
Mysterious Island (JN Software) (Spectrum 48K)
This adventure is well thought out and difficult to solve.
Byte (Cases) (Spectrum 48K/128K)
After each command all the information on the computer, your finances and the location are repeated, even if unchanged, which becomes very boring.
The Ring Of Darkness (Wintersoft) (Dragon 32)
There is so much to explore and puzzle over that this is truly an adventure which will keep you busy for months.
Walls And Bridges/Zombie Mambo (Stainless) (TI99/4A)
Dangers include monsters, only visible when moving, forbidden forest and larva pit.
Word Olympics (English) (Atari 400/800)
A very good addition to English Software's educational series.
Animal Anagrams (Image) (Spectrum 48K)
This simple exercise, much beloved of books on elementary programming, is embellished with sound and some neat graphics - a storm, Noah's Ark, the water receding on correct answers, and finally, the dove flying off and returning with an olive branch.
Spelling Bee (Image) (Sinclair ZX81)
Well-produced and visually pleasing, although somewhat limited.
Letters And Numbers (Jimjams) (Spectrum 48K)
A useful but not outstanding aid to alpha-numeric character recognition.
Identikit (Stell) (Spectrum 48K)
I'm sure many children between 3 and 10 could get many hours of innocent amusement from this.
