Linked reviews are available to view in full on this site.
Dam Busters (US Gold) (Commodore 64)
The game is excellent and I can thoroughly recommend it. The best flight game yet for the C64.
Rocket Ball (IJK) (Commodore 64)
By far the best of IJK's current programs and worth having if you fancy a change from soccer.
Airwolf (Elite) (Commodore 64)
I hope people do persevere with Airwolf, but I'm sure interest could have been sustained if something had made it easier.
World Series Baseball (Imagine) (Commodore 64)
Good entertaining stuff. The graphics are fine, particularly so on the giant 3D video screen at the end of the field, which gives you close-up action of pitcher and batsman.
Super Huey (US Gold) (Commodore 64)
A pretty good flight simulator... Essential for helicopter enthusiasts.
Elite (Firebird) (Commodore 64)
It is a flight simulation of some merit, a strategy game requiring careful planning, and a damn good shoot-'em-up, all rolled into one.
Ice Palace (Creative Sparks) (Commodore 64)
The best game currently available for the C64. The idea is excellent and the sound and graphics are nothing short of superb.
Spitfire '40 Vs. Spitfire Ace (Commodore 64)
Not quite up to Solo Flight or F15 Strike Eagle standards but the Mirrorsoft Spitfire game is the better of the two Spitfire games available.
Pitstop II Vs. Pole Position (Commodore 64)
If you were hooked on Pole Position in the arcades, you probably won't be able to resist the C64 version but, for my money, Pitstop II is the better game.
Confuzion (Incentive) (Commodore 64)
There is nothing particularly new or innovative about Confuzion but it is hellishly addictive.
Ciphoid 9 (GB Standard) (Commodore 64)
The 3D graphics are very good indeed, with a nice sense of perspective and general definition.
Gremlins (Adventure International) (Commodore 64)
Beginners only, seasoned adventurers will sail through.
Ace (Cascade) (Commodore 16/Plus 4)
The action is extremely fast and difficult to master even in daylight, so it's unlikely you'll earn your wings overnight and become bored with it.
Jack Attack (Commodore) (Commodore 16/Plus 4)
Certainly an addictive, high quality game, rather like mayhem on a trampoline with a few breezeblocks chucked in for good measure.
