A great film licence... Features two games, both excellent with delightful graphics. The variety is the real clincher, with something for everyone.

94%...! Fast-moving, solid graphics plus 20 very tough and varied missions.

Killer Ring (Ariolasoft)

An excellent game to unwind with, although there are only seven levels to beat, and originality is not the name of the game.

Wibstars (A 'n F)

Very difficult to make a profit, so games are short.

Bombjack II (Elite)

You can't lose here...! Forty levels of joystick-wrenching gameplay with interesting graphical backgrounds (and bags of gold to collect!). You even get Bombjack (the original) free!

MGT (Loriciels)

The sliding or inertia of the tank is a novel feature, and although the puzzles arrive early on I don't think they're too tough.

Warlock (The Edge)

This is a pleasant game in every respect: graphics, sonics and gameplay are top-class.

Feud (Mastertronic)

Well-designed, colourful scenery. Once you know the game's layout and start battling, it gets much more interesting.

Agent Orange (A 'n F/Argus Press)

Nice idea but where's the colour and the depth?

Sentinel (Firebird)

You'll marvel at the originality of Sentinel... and it has more landscapes than you'll ever need.

Ninja (Mastertronic)

Fighting and exploring is interesting but completing the whole game is very difficult.

West Bank (Gremlin)

The graphics are excellent and the gameplay quite addictive and demanding.

TT Racer (Digital Interaction)

The best Amstrad bike simulation so far.

500cc Grand Prix (Loriciels/Activision)

I usually like two-player games, particularly simultaneous racing ones, but this left me cold.

Flyspy (Mastertronic)

Excellent graphics, gratifying sound, superb gameplay, magnificent price, lunatic programmer, cute helicopter and centipede as well. What a wonderful game!

Hollywood Or Bust (Mastertronic)

Cheap... but not very cheerful. Only one life and too easy to die.

Little Computer People (Activision)

A bold, original concept with good animation... Try it and see.

Brian Clough's Football Fortunes (CDS)

An excellent family entertainment idea that football fans of all ages will love.

Koronis Rift (Activision)

The fractals and features will amaze immediately. This is what disk owners have been waiting for.

The Pawn (Magnetic Scrolls/Rainbird)

The Pawn is an excellent and inventive game... It must now command a far larger audience than when it first appeared, and it deserves it.

The Growing Pains Of Adrian Mole (Virgin/Mosaic/Level 9)

Some of the textual humour is quite amusing, and there is still a surprising amount to get through in each of the three parts.

Imagination (Firebird)

You can't go wrong here, although don't expect an epic game here; at £2 you don't deserve one.

10th Frame (US Gold)

A decent simulator that would have benefited from more spectacular graphics and easier controls.
