If you're going to buy a flight simulator, buy this one... I've played it for hours and hours and still find it tremendously addictive.
Nothing short of brilliant! All action is viewed from the side, with a great 3D perspective.
Marble Madness Construction Set (Melbourne House)
It's the only construction set of its kind, but the basic game isn't as good as its competitors.
This isn't a patch on many flight simulators... Tomahawk and Strike Force Harrier easily blow this out of the sky.
This isn't a bad little shoot-'em-up and had me glued to the joystick at first. The trouble is there's not enough to keep you playing for long.
Astounding! This is quite definitely the best strategy game I have come across.
What's the difference between stamina and endurance? In my opinion, the answer is not worth knowing and the game is not worth playing.
If you don't already have a "Gauntlet-type" game it's worth a look but doesn't offer anything new from the others.
Must be the best-implemented bridge program yet to appear... Plays a strong, sensible game.
Super Robin Hood (Codemasters)
The catchy tune that plays throughout the action, the speech, animation and gameplay all go to make a very enjoyable game at a marvellous price.
The graphics aren't very impressive but there's some good music on the title screens... Two-player games can be very competitive.
Even if you have played it a million times get this game; it is a decent version.
The gameplay wasn't much on show in the preview version.
Amazingly boring. Some adventure games take hours and hours to play, but seconds to get into... This one takes hours and hours to get into (if at all!) and aeons to explore.
Neat graphics, sound not too unbearable, and the action looks highly playable. Unfortunately it lacks staying-power material.
Lacks variety, is a little too easy and has too much green on the screen.
Please, please, please, no more TV and film licences.
Die You Victorious Fish (Rhinosoft)
There is a reasonable degree of good humour here, quite a few spelling mistakes, and one bug which caused the program to drop back into the Basic in which it appears the game is written.
Dodgy Geezers (Melbourne House)
I dreamed of another mega-game from Melbourne House... If only this were it, but it isn't.
