Galaforce (Superior/Acornsoft) (Acorn Electron)
The programmer has returned to the days when games were simpler in concept and shown how fast, versatile, dazzling and astounding a well-coded game on the Beeb can be.
Trivial Pursuit (Domark) (BBC B/B+/Master 128)
Expensive but good value - this is no cheap rip-off of the concept but a well-designed game that has been sensitively thought out.
Missile Control (Gemini) (Acorn Electron)
If you are one of the handful of Beeb games players who don't already own this then you might welcome this cheap reissue.
League Challenge (Atlantis) (BBC/Electron)
I suspect owners of Football Manager will not want another such simulation and other Beeb users will not want such a simulation at all.
Millenium (Falconsoft) (BBC Model B)
An excellent piece of software which, I predict, will generate its own cult following.
Roboto (Bug-Byte) (BBC/Electron)
Budget games should be lively and playable; this one is certainly both of those.
Slomo (Nidd Valley) (Acorn Electron)
This unit is extremely good value and a welcome addition to any games player's collection.
US Drag Racing (Tynesoft) (BBC/Electron)
This type of game is bad for keyboards as it is almost impossible to avoid hammering the poor keys.
Steve Davis Snooker (CDS) (Acorn Electron)
There have been snooker and pool simulations for the Beeb before, of course, but this is the best.
