Rig Attack (Tynesoft) (BBC/Electron)
It contains that essential play it again element and is amusing as well.
The Great Wall & Woks (Artic) (BBC/Electron)
Sorry Antarctic, in my book budget doesn't mean rubbish.
Thrust (Superior) (BBC/Electron)
Whilst Thrust is well-packaged and plays well, I can't resist the feeling that conversions of Commodore 64 games are not the ideal way forward for Beeb programming.
Jet Set Willy (Tynesoft) (BBC/Electron)
If you're a fan of Manic Miner, and that must be just about everyone who has played it, then this is for you.
Raid Over Moscow (U. S. Gold) (BBC Model B)
Ignore the politics of the game if you can and add this one to your collection.
Whilst nowhere near Frak! in the prehistoric stakes this, like Caveman Capers, is a lot of fun.
Double Phantom (Doctorsoft) (BBC Model B)
The realism which is a stated part of the Doctor Soft design philosophy combines with playability (good speed and response) to make an excellent game. The dual pilot game is a unique chance to fight it out with human opponents.
Winter Olympics (Tynesoft) (BBC/Electron)
Most events are fun to play again and again... Overall, the game is a winner with large, colourful graphics and good use of sound.
Starter Pack 1 (Tynesoft) (Acorn Electron)
This collection is, unfortunately, mostly of sub-par games with the possible exception of Space Caverns which is, at least, a challenging game to play.
Rig Attack (Tynesoft) (BBC/Electron)
The game is fun to play with ultra smooth, details, colourful graphics and fast scrolling. Although it's the same thing over and over again, it's still worth a look.
Shadow RAM Board (Slogger) (Acorn Electron)
As with all BBC Shadow RAM systems, the RAM is a block of 32K. This equates to a speed increase of up to 100% for all operations and as much as 300% for graphics orientated programs.
Action Pack 2 (Alligata) (Acorn Electron)
Very good value for money and will give you many hours of enjoyment... Go out and buy it!
Galactic Patrol (Mastertronic) (BBC/Electron)
Gameplay is simple and curiosity about what the next stage is like brings you back for more. The game is well priced and worth buying.
Wet Zone (Tynesoft) (Acorn Electron)
The colourful and varied graphics fly at an amazing speed and it is a real challenge to try to survive for any length of time.
Woks (Artic Computing) (BBC/Electron)
The gameplay is very difficult and boring. One consolation is that the instructions are amusing to read, but overall the game is very poor.
Mouse Trap (Tynesoft) (BBC/Electron)
The sound is used effectively and rounds off well an addictive and fun-to-play game.
