Tarzan Boy

This colourful arcade game is fun to play as it is quite difficult and therefore is addictive. The action is set in the jungle where you have to rescue Jane who is in mortal danger.

To do this you have to run and jump over great divides, not to mention dodging the many obstacles which include falling rocks and hissing snakes.

The graphics are quite fast and are colourful and very well animated. There is some use of sonics in making sound FX. Overall, a fun game to play.

Diamond Pete

Diamond mining is a hazardous job at the best of times. But when oxygen is limited and there a precariously balanced boulders to deal with, as well it is downright deadly. Pete has dreams of being rich and so you help him in his task of collecting large diamonds.

This is done by digging away the surrounding dirt and pushing the boulders out of the way. The graphics are quite colourful and animated. The most impressive thing is the ten levels of ten screens. This means that you will be busy for a long, long time. Addictive with a touch of humour.

Video's Revenge

A very fast and addctive vertical scrolling shoot-'em-up game. The object is simply to last as long as possible against the seething alien hordes. To help you accomplish this you have at your disposal lasers, smart bomb and an invisibility device.

Also, there is a feature where you can increase your firepower, which is helpful as there are many types of alien ships and, as the levels increase, they get harder. The graphics and sound are very good with fast movement and colourful animation.

Best game in the pack.

Q-Bix

An awful version of the arcade game Q-Bert in which you guide a character around a 3D pyramid colouring blocks. When all the blocks are finished, there is a new screen with more hazards such as rolling ball and snakes etc. The graphics are jerky and the controls are very difficult to use. The screen and graphics are passable but the movement is slow and jerky. The sound is sparse and boring.

Not worth more than one or two plays.

Verdict

All in all, the pack is very good value for money and will give you many hours of enjoyment so go out and buy it!
