Nightmare Maze (MRM) (Acorn Electron)
If you like a game that provides an infuriating challenge, buy it. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Fantasia Diamond (Hewson) (BBC/Electron)
In summary, nothing outstanding, but a perfectly playable real time adventure if you enjoy this kind of game.
Where? (Micro Power) (Acorn Electron)
In my experience, children don't learn from this type of program, but I was impressed with the very rapid drawing of the outline map on the screen.
Millionaire (Incentive) (BBC/Electron)
No doubt this game will appeal to some people but personally I wouldn't choose to play it more than once, and would get more pleasure with a greater chance of earning a million from the newspaper's bingo.
Junior Maths Pack (Micro Power) (Acorn Electron)
Not one of the best educational tapes I have seen.
Osprey (Bourne) (BBC/Electron)
If you need a simple computer based support to other schoolwork on this subject, then this might be of use to you, but I still cannot help feeling cheated by the simplicity of the package.
Spaceman Sid (English) (Acorn Electron)
Overall, the game is reasonable but presents an overriding impression of deja-vu which squashes its appeal rather quickly.
Sadim Castle (MP) (Acorn Electron)
Doesn't really rate in terms of construction, and lacks any unusual originality of content to compensate.
Chartbuster (Alligata) (BBC Model B)
Alligata do not come up with below par games in the first instance... When they put a bunch together for our further delectation, and at a bargain price, it is time for those who did not buy first time around to take notice.
Neither the energy nor score is shown on the screen... Sinbad cannot be highly recommended.
Castle Of Gems (MRM) (BBC Model B)
This must be one of the best value-for-money games around for the BBC and deserves to do well, as I am sure it will.
This program is nice to use and makes intelligent and full use of the micro's operating system.
Son Of Blagger (Alligata) (BBC Model B)
The presentation is high with all the usual features such as sound on/off and hall of fame.
