If you like galaxian type games then this one from Superior Software will provide you with plenty of different screens of aliens to exterminate. Strange looking aliens they are too I might add.

These weird looking beasties wander round the screen in what can almost be described as a dancing motion. In fact I found it rather hypnotic after a while and was glad when I had shot down a few as this makes them mutate and behave in a different way.

Further screens feature many other unusual creatures including what appear to be some rather large animated snowballs that whizz across the screen doing their best to flatten you.

Star Striker

After a few screens have been wiped out you are given the task of docking two rockets together which certainly helps to break the tedium. A time bonus is awarded should you manage to achieve this difficult task successfully.

That really is all there is to this game. Screen after screen of aliens with the occasionaly lunar lander type exercise thrown in for good measure.

There is nothing startling about the quality of the displays in Star Striker. The screens are rather bare-loking actually with graphics that are slightly different from other games of this type, but this doesn't make this game any more interesting.

I can't summon up much enthusiasm for this alien thrash at all. It's just another variation of many other games I have seen before and which in most cases are far better than this one. Not recommended.
