Demon Decorator is a graphics game running in Mode 2. The game consists of a grid of white squares which fill the screen and the paintbrush (controlled by the player) which will paint the lines yellow. This will only happen if painting starts from the outside of the grid matrix or from an existing yellow line. The snag is that you can only paint along three lines until the brush dries out and the line is lost unless it already joins up to an existing yellow line or the outer edge of the matrix.

To further complicate matters there is an octopus which is determined to stop you and chases you continuously. To help you there are three stuns to use against the octopus and these can be increased by running over the stud diamonds which appear on the screen.

Although a simple and fairly enjoyable game, there were some handling problems caused by the controls. The time delay between pressing the keys and the computer responding really took some getting used to. Once this hurdle has been overcome the game becomes fairly addictive and fairly high scores are easily obtainable.
