A classic. Fast, effective 3D vector graphics and some very good sound effects.
Although the game is a mite derivative of Nodes Of Yesod, it still proves compelling to both play and map.
A reasonably difficult game, although it only has five screens... Nice sprites which fit the game well.
Yet another naff game from Ultimate. Completing the game is tough but the lack of gameplay makes it dull.
Icky title screen. Great fun to start with... but appeal soon fades due to lack of challenge.
Will probably appeal to fans of the television series but as games go it certainly isn't anything special.
Kung Fu Master (US Gold/Datasoft)
A bit above the odds for such an average program but violence fans may feel the need to shell out.
A truly realistic sports simulation which sets new standards... The second best thing to the World Series!
Good backdrops but porky, ill-defined sprites and poor 3D effect... It's about time Ultimate played the game and came up with a good one.
One Man And His Droid (Mastertronic)
Very good... very easy to get into... Hubbard's music brings life to the game. Probably has highest appeal for those who enjoy making maps.
Not the outstanding release expected, but still a good game that is unfortunately let down by its poor documentation.
Pleasant attract screens and comprehensive instructions... All very nice to look at but very little game to play.
A disappointing sequel but may still prove popular with fans of Shadowfire who are looking for something to pass the time.
From the moment you start the game, and are flung headlong into a gun-battle with two of the local heavies, you're hooked... It's humorous, tricky, addictive and great fun.
We want good graphics, interactive characters and large vocabularies - not quirky green pics, off-beat puzzles and unexaminable "Komputas".
OK, it's cheap, but money isn't everything... and life's too short to spend snoring away in front of this little offering.
A classic game that shouldn't be overlooked by those even vaguely interested in the genre.
An excellent package and an enjoyable way of messing around with your Commodore's capabilities without the hassle.
Once you get into the motions it's quite addictive... More playable with more people.
This is reasonably priced for the size of the game but, despite initial attractions, the game is ultimately unplayable.
Germany 1985: When Superpowers Collide (SSL)
Amongst the best ever SSI releases. The complex rules are sufficiently well explained to allow rapid implementation.
Visually awesome, sonically sound, technically stunning and a brilliant shoot-'em-up to boot.
