The Rocky Horror Show looks good, sounds good and is very addictive - just like the show itself! Read Review
The graphics of the game's rooms are excellent and there's surprisingly little difference between the two versions, except of course the Spectrum lacks the C64's excellent music. Read Review
Quite a playable game and definitely the best CRL have produced. Read Review
Good graphics, reasonable animation, tiresome music and monotonous gameplay; we gave it three stars when it appeared last summer, and there's little reason to change that rating. Strictly for the freaks. Read Review
If you enjoyed the film and want to play a better than average take-off then CRL will be in your favour. I found this game weirdly addictive. Read Review
Apart from a "funked up" version of the song, this is more or less identical to the 48K version... The number of screens is the same, though a couple of bugs that were present in the original seem to have been cleared up. Read Review
Your beloved Janet (or Brad) has been kidnapped by the evil Dr. Frank 'n' Furter who has activated the diabolical Medusa machine to turn her (or him) into stone.
Frank, however, has dismantled the De-Medusa (the only machine that will reverse the petrification process) and has scattered the parts around the castle. Frankie knows that you will attempt to save your partner, and it amuses him(?) to watch your feeble efforts as you collect the pieces and attempt to activate them! Time is of the essence as the castle is a disguised space ship and is on final countdown!!!
Frank has a rather strange entourage:
Riff-Raff | ... | a manic depressive butler |
Magenta | ... | a domestic, and Riff-Raff's sister |
Columbia | ... | a groupie |
Rocky Horror | ... | a creation |
Eddie | ... | a failed experiment suspended in deep freeze who tends to thaw out occasionally and so needs to be reactivated (also a rocker and boyfriend to Columbia) |
Whether or not they are dangerous we leave for you to work out.
Three words of advice ...
N - Left, M - Right, A - Up, Z - Down, SPACE - Activate/Pick Up
P - Toggle pause
To choose control option, press space bar. You will then choose whether to be Brad or Janet. Press "B" for Brad, "J" for Janet, and then press ENTER.

Spectrum 128K owners should ensure they load the 128K version of the game.
