It lacks the roundness of a quality game and the key responses aren't what they ought to be. Nevertheless it does have a certain addictive quality. Read Review
Our hero Bert has fallen in love with the beautiful Princess Aras from Tapen. You may think that this is great but her Father the fearful King Eg has decreed that before Bert can marry Princess Aras, he has to paint the pyramid of Vali.
Well Bert thinks this is great and, with a farewell kiss to Aras, he runs off with his paint and brush. But poor Bert is unaware of the evil tricks of King Eg, for King Eg has several surprises in store for Bert, the first is that the Pyramid is covered in a special substance that will only allow just one coat of paint to be applied but as soon as this coat is finished he has to start all over again.
To make matters worse the King has ordered his men to throw down metal Balls from the top of the Pyramid, block by block they fall; if they land on Bert, he will be crushed. If all that isn't enough for poor old Bert, the King has hired the skinny assassin 'Thin Man' to kill Bert. Just as he is about to complete his task, Thin Man (who is so thin, he is very difficult to see) attacks our Bert, so be careful.
Bert will need help, so you have been chosen to assist him. Good luck.
Move up and down the Pyramid, painting as you go. Watch out for the Balls or Thin Man. Use the ladders to jump to the top, but each ladder can only be used once. Later screens require two coats of paints.
There are 15 screens of play, each harder than the last.
