Beating The Beeb (BBC Model B)
A faultless reproduction of the arcade original.
Aztec Challenge (Atari 400/800)
Has smooth though not particularly sophisticated graphics and it's a bit different from most other games.
If you don't mind working quite hard to play a game, you might enjoy Time-Lords. Otherwise, this five player, five dimensional board game falls flat on its face.
This is a computer game for people who like to think. You don't have to be a die-hard capitalist to enjoy it.
Fairly fast and tricky enough to be worth playing... if you get a copy that will go beyond the first screen.
It's too easy to make progress up through the bacteria levels, while the action becomes repetitive.
A good, straightforward and challenging game that becomes more interesting the more you play.
The Dragon Programmer (Dragon 32)
The text is a joy to read and there are screen shots so you know what is possible.
