A hugely playable, ambitious crime-fest, that due to camera and graphical issues falls just short of Don-like respect.

The Haunted Mansion (TDK) (Xbox (EU Version))

Pretty good, with a few undead surprises up its sleeve. Will pleasantly shock those tempted to add it to their library.

Bad Boys II (Crave Entertainment) (Xbox (EU Version))

Flawed film licence that's fun for a few hours. Cut out the attitude and you've got a passable third-person shooter.

Pitfall: The Lost Expedition (Activision) (Xbox (EU Version))

A long time in development, the fruits of a lengthy labour should have been better than this run-of-the-mill platformer.

Fallout: Brotherhood Of Steel (Interplay) (Xbox (EU Version))

It's Dark Alliance in a breaker's yard. Dirty, violent, sometimes amusing, and just the right side of a pleasant distraction.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Konami) (Xbox (EU Version))

Not very cerebral, but a decent button-bashing beat-'em-up. Two player co-op is fun, but four-way would've been great.

Tenchu: Return From Darkness (Activision) (Xbox (EU Version))

Stealth and humour with a touch of old skool grit, this is a slow burning beauty that could have done with a little more gloss.

Knights Of The Temple: Infernal Crusade (Evolved Games) (Xbox (EU Version))

A slight improvement over Enclave is terms of gameplay, but otherwise this is a strictly by-numbers hack 'n slasher.

MX Unleashed (THQ) (Xbox (EU Version))

A very solid and enjoyable, if unspectacular, motocross racer.

Dead Man's Hand (Atarisoft) (Xbox (EU Version))

Up and down more than a frilly lady in a swing-door saloon on the day the cattle drive comes to town. Fun but inconsistent.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem (THQ) (Xbox (EU Version))

A fun and easy-going adventure that benefits immensely from retaining all the authenticity of the TV show. Zoinks!

Morrowind Game Of The Year Edition (Bethesda) (Xbox (US Version))

Provides a massively interesting diversion for fans. This pack represents the greatest value of play-hours per pound ever.
