Super Kick-Off (US Gold) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
The best football game going, and one which every Megadrive owner, regardless of their interest in the sport, should leap out and purchase.
Captain America And The Avengers (Data East) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
Initially very good fun but it looks awful and the thrill soon wears off - not a highly recommended experience.
Batman Returns (Sega) (Sega Game Gear (EU Version))
A solid, fun effort. But the five short levels and easy bosses at the start of the game don't leave much hope in the way of longevity.
Championship Pro-Am (Tradewest) (Sega Genesis)
A brilliant conversion of Nintendo RC Pro-Am, but we're sure there could have been a lot more variety in both the graphics and the gameplay.
One of those strange games that proves compulsive despite its looks.
Global Gladiators (Virgin) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
Fast, brilliant fun and utterly addictive but heed this warning: Play this on Difficult level. On Normal and Easy, it's too much of a doddle and, once completed, there's not that much to bring you back for more.
Defenders Of Oasis (Sega) (Sega Game Gear (EU Version))
A mini-classic. Very enthralling and entertaining and the best RPG on the Game Gear.
Fun and playable, Toxic Crusaders suffers from some rather awful graphics and a lack of lastability. A bit more though and this could have been a lot better.
Alien 3 (Arena Entertainment) (Sega Game Gear (EU Version))
A thinking person's platform-based, seek and destroy blast-'em-up of the highest quality.
Outlander (Mindscape) (Sega Genesis)
Very fast and packed with action... Road racer fans with a taste for violence should definitely check this out.
Castle Of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (Sega) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
The first truly brilliant Megadrive platform game... It boasted amazing graphics for its time.
Speedball (Imageworks) (Sega Master System (EU Version))
The two-player element is fun, but the sequel, Speedball II, is miles better.
ESwat (Sega) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
I like this game. Unlike a lot of games of this type, it is very tough to master.
Dick Tracy (Sega) (Sega Master System (EU Version))
Although the game has its faults, it's still a good laugh with fast 'n furious shoot-'em-up action. Shoot-'em-up fans should get hold of this.
Crack Down (Sega) (Sega Mega Drive (JP Version))
This is nothing special... and the slowdown in two-player mode is really irritating, especially as this was designed to be a head-to-head game.
Sword Of Sodan (Electronic Arts) (Sega Mega Drive (EU Version))
What a load of old tosh! The gameplay is just too repetitive.
Cyber Shinobi (Sega) (Sega Master System (EU Version))
Cyber Shinobi? Cyber Shitnobi, more like. It's rubbish and everything about it is awful.
