The graphics are fairly good, but then again there are not opportunities to show off the good graphics of the Beeb in this sort of game. Read Review
Although this game is slightly mystifying at first, it proved to be extremely playable. Read Review
Once loaded, the options in Laser Command must be set. These are as follows:

P | Paged mode (on/off) Paged mode on waits for space to be pressed while holding down one of the movement keys (W, E, O or P) to indicate that the player is ready and in position after each new screen |

S | Spaceships (on/off) (from level 4 onwards) |
C | Continuous screens: 'x Points' not displayed |
J | Control sights from the joystick |
K | Control sights from the keyboard |

To move the sights, the controls are as follows:
W - Left, E - Right, P - Up, O - Down, DELETE - Fire missile
N - Lay mine (up to 10 mines), V - Detonate mines, f0-9 - Store/recall pattern of mines
SHIFT/CTRL - Pause/Restart, ESCAPE - Return to Options
If your laser base is hit, you lose 10 missiles and you must wait for the base to be rebuilt. If no missiles are left, the base is not rebuilt. An extra city is awarded for every 10,000 points scored and the skill level is incremented every 5,000 points.
