It was the first day of the year and the people had started to gather in the palace yard. At noon, the beloved Caliph must show the sacred sceptre to prove his rule to rule over the land of Baghdad.
However, several hours earlier:
The Caliph woke up in his bed feeling strange - everything around him seemed to have grown bigger. Nervously, he ran through his palace to the room where he kept his magic lamp. He climbed onto the table and polished the lamp until a genie appeared.
"How can I help you, O master?" "Why am I so small?! What has happened to my palace?! What does all this mean?!" asked the Caliph.
After an oppressive silence, the genie spoke again.
"It seems that an evil wizard from a land across the Great Sea has conjured your palace full of demons and obstacles to prevent you from showing the sceptre at noon. He intends to divest you of all your power and become the Caliph himself."
"What can I do? Can you help me?" asked the Caliph. "I am doomed to stay in this lamp," replied the genie. "But whenever I can, I will try to give you some helpful clues and I grant you the power to fire magic orbs that will destroy some of the demons sent by the Wizard."
The Caliph must find the sceptre of Baghdad and walk with it to the palace balcony.
When the Caliph picks up an object, this will be replaced with the current object in the display. Use F1 to switch the object in the display so that it cannot be dropped. Up to four objects can be carried at any time. Some puzzles require more than one object.
O - Left, P - Right, Q - Jump, A - Enter door, use magic carpet or use held object, SPACE - Fire orb
You may use a joystick plugged into port 2 if you prefer.
F1 - Cycle through held objects, F3 - Toggle "Fire mode"
RUN/STOP - Pause/Unpause, INST/DEL - Quit, I - Change filter of music or effects to suit your machine
You can select one of three different colour options when the game starts.
For many decades Crux, the world's most feared dictator, has attempted to overthrow the World Government Federation. Crux now plans yet another attempt, only this time our whole world is under threat of extinction!
Unknown until recently, twenty space colonies have been built on the Moon - Ready for complete global warfare and mass destruction against our world.
Our only chance of survival is to destroy the space colonies before any attempt of attack.
You take control of a lone craft in an attempt to destroy the space colonies. To complete each level you must destroy the whole city before landing.
You only have a limited amount of fuel and so fall constantly towards the city. If you collide with any buildings your craft will be destroyed. On later levels, the gravitational pull of the moon is much greater.
Once a whole city has been destroyed, you will land and your craft will be refuelled.
Your must destroy all of the 20 space colonies to prevent any attempts by Crux from destroying our world.
Good luck, pilot!
During the game, various objects will fall from space that can be collected for extra bonus points. Avoid collecting a meteor - this will destroy your craft!
Use a joystick plugged into port 2.
SPACE paused the game. RUN/STOP quits.

1,000 years have passed since the great war, and now our world is under attack from evil hordes located on the planet Mars. Their aim is to attack our world to take all the natural resources that we have gained over the many years.
Five major space colonies have been located on Mars and we need your help to prevent a global catastrophe and the obliteration of our world.
As Galactic Ned, you must attempt to destroy all five space colonies using our Supersonic Neutron Space Craft.
To complete each level you must destroy the whole city before landing. You only have a limited amount of fuel and so fall constantly towards the city. If you collide with any buildings, your craft will be destroyed.
Once a whole city has been destroyed you will land and your craft will be refuelled.
When you have finally destroyed all of the space colonies, only then will you have saved the day!
During the game, various objects will fall from space that can be collected for extra bonus points. Avoid collecting a meteor - this will destroy your craft!
Use a joystick plugged into port 2.

You are the Shaolin Master's young apprentice Bruise Lei who must prove his worth and defend the Shaolin Temple, which is under attack. Battle it out with the evil henchmen, recover the 40 sacred idols and avenge your fallen master to reveal the secret hidden treasures any mystic crolls of the Shaolin Temple. Only then will you restore honour to the Masters of Shaolin and gain ultimate Karma and Grand Master status yourself.
Defend the Shaolin Temple from the attacking henchmen and collect the glowing sacred idols when they appear. The idols will only appear briefly, so make sure you are quick to collect them. You must collect 40 idols to complete the game.
Left/Right - Walk left/right
Up/Down - Jump to upper/lower level

The original version of Shaolin Plus was programmed during a four day period (on and off) by Jon Wells his spare time. It was created entirely using the CCS64 emulator on the PC; only the samples were created using a real C64.
For the 2013 re-release the game has been enhanced and features a special end sequence which will be shown once you have collected all 40 sacred idols. The controls have also been specially modified and improved.
Supernova of the Star Sirius imminent... Turn off generators to open gateways... Find five access codes and seek launch craft to enter and escape... before the blast destroys Arth... Message ends...
Look for a lever with the same colour as a blocking wall - these are the main connection.
Disabling a generator will open a wall; this gives you access to more of the planet!
Objects dropped by destroyed RFOs disappear after a short while so make sure you are quick to collect them. Glowing objects denote a weapon power-up. If you collect the Nuke Bomb your next three shots will destroy all the RFOs on the screen - so make them count!
During play you'll discover pointing arrows - these indicate a doorway entrance and also tell you which way it's header. When you locate an energy lever or ammo pod, walk over to it to switch off or collect respectively.
When you shoot certain RFO's they will drop an object that you can collect. These objects will either increase your score or improve your weaponry.
Finally, try to remember what's in each room as you play so you know what's coming up next time. The key to completion of this game is careful planning; more than just blasting (Don't forget you've only got a limited supply of ammo and time before Arth is destroyed!)
Let the mission begin!
Use a joystick plugged into port 2 to control Voto or Veti
Left/Right while on foot - Run left/right Up - Thrust upwards using Super Jetpac (Left and Right to thrust in that direction) Down while standing still - Enter doorway to new location Fire - Shoot Plasma Gun
