Linked reviews are available to view in full on this site.
Nightshade (Ultimate) (Spectrum 48K)
Even if Nightshade isn't Ultimate's greatest game, it's still streets ahead of most of the competition.
Red Arrows (Database) (Spectrum 48K)
Vastly over-priced and slightly amateur.... Might have been good two years ago.
Music Master (Supersoft) (Commodore 64)
A genuine budget alternative to the more expensive MIDI-based systems.
Fig Forth (Amsoft) (Amstrad CPC464)
A very comprehensive implementation of the Forth language.
Use It (Bubble Bus) (Amstrad CPC464)
I see little use for it and can only think of it as a novelty overpriced at £6.95.
Castle Assault (Blue Ribbon) (BBC/Electron)
I am surprised that this quality game is being marketed at such a low price.
Nightmare Maze (Blue Ribbon) (BBC Model B)
The graphics are good and, although this game is a clone of an old classic, it is excellent value for money.
Music Maker (Fsoft) (BBC Model B)
This package is easy to use and represents remarkable value for money.
Quann Tulla (8th Day) (Amstrad CPC464)
The adventure was challenging without being too hard - let's say it's an intermediate game - and at the given price it represents extremely good value.
Crystal Quest (Central Solutions) (Spectrum 48K/128K)
A tricky and entertaining game.
Cops 'N Robbers (Atlantis) (Commodore 64)
This is as good a graphic adventure as you could expect to find at this price level.
