Linked reviews are available to view in full on this site.
Astronomer (CP Software) (Spectrum 48K)
The graphics are stunning... A well written manual guides your use of this first class package.
Computer Scrabble (Leisure Genius) (Commodore 64)
Unless you're a Scrabble champion, you should find this game a worthy opponent.
White Lightning (Oasis) (Spectrum 48K)
Very impressive... You may publish games written using this package, so all you need for professional games production is this small amount of money, time and imagination!
Graphics Designer (Supersoft) (Commodore 64)
Excellent... A fast reliable machine code package making the design of graphics trivial.
Graphics Editor (Romik) (Commodore 64)
It's not the best character editor I've used but it's worth a close look.
Caverns Of Khafka (US Gold) (Commodore 64)
A great idea using great graphics and nice sound... which rapidly runs out of steam.
Astro Chase (State Soft) (Commodore 64)
The graphics are excellent and very colourful; sound was quite good too.
Mystic Mansion (US Gold) (Commodore 64)
The problems should give hours of frustration, but when solved, the game will have questionable value.
Flip And Flop (State Soft) (Commodore 64)
An excellent game with first class graphics and sound and guaranteed to keep you at it for hours.
Atom Smasher (Romik) (Acorn Electron)
Honestly, if this is the best that Romik can do with the Electron I don't why they bothered.
Aces High (Oasis) (BBC/Electron)
I find it difficult to see the fascination in winning mythical money.
Red Attack (Unique) (Spectrum 48K)
Not addictive... Barely as good as the best magazine listings... Cannot be recommended, even if it is cheap.
Xanadu Cottage/Ebony Tower (Alligata) (BBC Model B)
Whilst these adventures aren't simple, I don't think that they will tax an experienced player.
The Journey (Temptation) (Spectrum 48K/128K)
You certainly won't solve this one all in one go! It's complex and tantalising.
Gem Grabber (Stainless) (TI99/4A)
The screen shows a series of subterranean passageways surrounded by solid ground and crossed, in places, by walls of impenetrable rock.
Decimals (Chalksoft) (Commodore Vic 20)
A poor program. At its best, a good, albeit expensive, cure for insomnia.
Custard Pie Fight (Comsoft) (BBC Model B)
A nicely done, if average, game. A pity there is no provision for joysticks in the program.
Scram 20 (Artic Computing) (Commodore Vic 20)
I've seen one or two versions of Scramble on the Vic 20... This one is as good as the rest.
