Linked reviews are available to view in full on this site.
Skyhawk (Quicksilva) (Commodore Vic 20)
An addictive and difficult game which represents good value.
Damper/Glooper (Quicksilva) (Sinclair ZX81)
Dampers is a straightforward game, without frills, but difficult; Glooper is fun to play and competently produced.
Escape From Orion (Hopesoft) (BBC Model B)
The addictive value is high, despite a strange choice of colours.
Laser Zone (Llamasoft) (Commodore Vic 20)
For this game, you need a good joystick and, like the adverts say, dedication!
Vic-20 Games Pack (Melbourne House) (Commodore Vic 20)
I cannot honestly recommend this package, although Space Rocks is of a higher standard.
Pharoah's Tomb (Anirog) (Commodore Vic 20)
Very good multicolour mode graphics, but a rather frustrating and unsatisfying game.
The Wizard And The Princess (Melbourne House) (Commodore Vic 20)
Melbourne House is clearly aware of the great marketing potential of adventure games at present, but competition is stiff and standards higher than this.
Starship Escape (Sumlock) (Commodore Vic 20)
An excellent game which should appeal to most age groups.
Krazy Kong (Anirog) (Commodore Vic 20)
Animation is smooth and fast, with either joystick or keyboard control.
Cyber Rats (Silversoft) (Spectrum 16K)
Interesting, but unmemorable graphics and lacking addictive qualities.
Muncher (Silversoft) (Spectrum 16K)
With so many similar games on the market, I would have liked to see more variety and imagination.
Orbiter (Silversoft) (Spectrum 16K)
Basically a good game, which would benefit from slight revisions.
