There is more skill involved in playing Santa's Sleigh than Yule Spell, I would imagine Yule Spell has more lastability and appeals to a wider audience.
One of the largest and most packed issues in the Your Computer run, I'd recommend anyone grab themselves not just a game but a copy of computing history!
Thankfully, quite a rare game, meaning it probably won't be finding its way into anybody's Christmas stockings this year.
Repton The Lost Realms (Retro Software)
You get everything you ever loved about the Repton series, and more, plus the ability to design games in a completely new format, to be enjoyed by a new generation of puzzlers.
The joystick routines and on-screen instructions don't disguise what is mostly a collection of poor Basic clones of ideas for the Electron done, much better, elsewhere.
It's a nice little game for your youngster to explore if the nipper's not quite ready for an iPod yet.
Father Christmas And Rudolph's Nose
Neither game would win an award for style... but if you're desperate for some Christmas cheer, they might fit the bill.
A fairly middling collection of games to celebrate Christmas of 1987.
There are some good inclusions on this disc and some stinkers but there's nothing that's really great.
