Some adventures use humour to hide a shallow plot, but Fish! combines laughs with thoughtful, challenging problems.

Gary Lineker's Hot-Shot (Gremlin Graphics)

Graphically the game is good with a bird's-eye view of the little players thundering around the pitch, fouling each other like crazy.

The Great Peepingham Train Robbery (Axxent)

Plenty of quaint locations to visit and people to meet in a very entertaining, humorous adventure.

Motor Massacre (Gremlin)

Any interest in the game is killed stone dead by the appalling multi-load system.

Pac-Land (Grandslam)

The graphics are great - the monochrome is a bit of a disappointment, but the well-animated characters and equally attractive backgrounds more than make up for it.

Peter Pack-Rat (Silverbird)

Although Peter Pack Rat is a simple 'platform and ladders' game, it's amazingly addictive.

A frustrating, poor version of a prehistoric idea. Give it a big miss.

The space section is quite enjoyable, but soon gets repetitive, as does the game itself I'm afraid.
