Aquanaut (Addictive Games) (Amiga 500)
A three-section, four-way vertical and horizontal scroller which progresses from a pure shoot-'em-up to a puzzle game in the second and third sections. Looks lovely too.
Bomber (Activision) (Commodore 64/128)
Much as it breaks my heart, I'm afraid I'm going to have to give this one a miss.
European Space Shuttle (Tomahawk) (Amiga 500)
A fairly enjoyable game. Although it fails to push back the boundaries of computer entertainment, it's good fun.
Wings Of Fury (Broderbund) (Amiga 500)
If you like your shoot-'em-ups on the cerebral side then this is for you.
Space Ace (Readysoft) (Amiga 500)
Buy Space Ace to impress, dazzle, amaze or overwhelm your friends. But don't buy it to play, and certainly not at this price.
Starflight (Electronic Arts) (Amiga 500)
I don't think it'll become a classic, but a very passable distraction.
World Championship Boxing Manager (Goliath Games) (Amiga 500)
An incredible product, and a great start to the New Year.
Drakkhen (Infogrames) (Amiga 500)
Games like this have to be judged up against the AD&D series and the comparison is not flattering.
Super Cars (Gremlin) (Amiga 500)
One of those repetitive games that falters after only a few hours. As you progress nothing new is added.
P-47 Thunderbolt (Firebird) (Amiga 500)
This clearly isn't worth climbing mountains for. Take my advice and look elsewhere.
Hound Of Shadow (Electronic Arts) (Amiga 500)
A complete departure from traditional RPG and adventure, yet employing the popular features of both formats. Couple that with a well-researched and chilling story that's full of atmosphere, and it's got to be a winner amongst people who prefer thought-provoking games!
Kings Quest IV: The Perils Of Rosella (Sierra) (Amiga 500)
Has what I consider to be the best graphics and music from Sierra to date. A must.
