Attack On Alpha Centauri (Software Invasion)
This is a version of Galaxians the like of which you've never seen before. Some of the effects are really very impressive!
Felix And The Fruit Monsters (Micro Power)
It's all right, but it lacks the originality to make it as worthwhile as some of the other programs on the market, even though the game does get slightly better as it progresses through its different stages.
I didn't find this game very fast even though it is written in machine code and it doesn't stand out in this highly competitive market.
Felix In The Factory (Micro Power)
This is a very good game, but the key layout left me with a sore hand.
The game is difficult to explain... You move over a 3D pyramid, changing the colour of the slab that you are on... An impressive array of options too.
This is just what Torch Disc Pack users need to keep their system compatible with BBC micro software. Its compatibility is excellent, currently permitting well over 47k of program space, irrespective of graphics mode.
The Advanced User Guide For The BBC Micro (Acornsoft/Adder)
This book is a must, and is excellent value... The experienced user will delight in dipping into it over and over again as more and more information is revealed and explained.
Assembly Language Programming On The BBC Micro (Addison-Wesley)
A good book with much useful information, which is somewhat spoilt by poor quality presentation and printing.
Discovering BBC Micro Machine Code (Granada)
A good book for the serious-minded student of machine code and reasonable value for money.
