The lack of a save game option means that you have to start from scratch every time but once you've put in a little sword practice you should be able to slice your way through the earlier levels with little difficulty.
Gary Lineker's Hot Shot! (Gremlin)
Play flows along at a happy, care-free pace, with no regard for realism, but it's fun nonetheless.
I wouldn't say that Premier II was in division one for soccer games; more like jostling in the play-offs.
Rock Star Ate My Hamster (Codemasters)
I think that CodeMasters have a hit on their hands here. Play wise, Rock Star is a gem, being operated by easy-to-follow menus.
Now please listen to my warning: I shall only say this once. Arcade Muscle is sincerely awful.
Despite my ineptitude I found the game quite addictive, with lots of failure to clear a level in the allotted time means the loss of a life.
Graphically, Pac-Land is superb and a superb arcade conversion... Grandslam has something to be proud of here.
Emlyn Hughes International Soccer (Audiogenic)
A marvellous way for the less energetic of this world to play football.
Crazy Cars II is the most strategical racing game to be released on the Amstrad, and is easily the best yet.
