Bumping Buggies

The player, controlling a red car, is presented with a bird's eye view of a race track. The other racers behave like stock cars by attempting to barge you off the course - it's tough out there! You can reciprocate and also boost up your score.

One ace up your sleeve is the ability to leap into the air to escape danger, but this manoeuvre is only possible at speeds of 100mph plus: and approaching the water jumps that course of action is obligatory. There are four seasons to race through, marked by different colours for the course, and a choice of twenty different tracks.

A title-screen theme tune coupled with good sound effects, along with the ability to develop a dab hand throughout some complex circuits with the sense of 'going somewhere', mark this as one of the better games.
