A cosmetic makeover of an arcade classic, falling short of greatness.
Straight Up (Dr. Wuro Industries)
Controls are tight and the jump mechanics work well. All that's really missing is some sort of computer AI to compete against, not just humanoids. Other than that, it obeys KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid!) as a multiplayer title and executes excellently.
Rogue64 (Badger Punch/Bitmapsoft)
The included instructions are welcome - and the physical packaging is well done... Try the potion and see if you acquire the taste for this Roguelike.
The Empire Strikes Back (Megastyle)
A classic title remade after so many years - but could have benefited with one or two tweaks.
Calypso (David Footitt/Papa's Gong)
A game with a good story and exceptionally great writing for both beginners and advanced adventure enthusiasts... if you don't mind missing that extra bit of polish.

Gorgeous splash screen, lovely sprites, all hard to fault - except for the confusing floor types.
