Activision Little Computer People (Activision)
A stunning advance in computer entertainment. Cute, unpredictable and you've just got to see what your little Pet Person does next.
One of the few really good arcade adventures on the C64. Instantly appealing, fun to explore and especially to map.
The graphics and sound are the stronger elements of Wizardry, as the gameplay is very poor.
Stealth (Ariolasoft/Broderbund)
Just an extension on the Buck Rogers theme... Better shoot-'em-ups are available than this.
An exciting and unusual approach to the arcade adventure genre and a sufficiently complex game that is also involving.
Doesn't stand up too well as a standard release and makes me wonder why US Gold bothered in the first place.
You may feel that the price makes it a good option, but unless that factor is important to the majority of trivia freaks, this game may well sink into oblivion.

If you are a fan of Robin Hood you will probably find this adventure worthwhile... One of the game's strong points is its atmosphere.

The Wizard And The Princess provides an interesting way to mindlessly throw fifteen pounds right down the drain.
Relatively easy to get into despite uninformative instructions... The many situations require plenty of thought.
Steve Davis Snooker (CDS Microsystems)
A superlative snooker simulation; a touch flickery and a touch expensive but worth it if you like the sport.
Karateka (Ariolasoft/Broderbund)
An excellent variant on a Kung Fu theme, but it's a shame it's so slow.
Undetailed sprites wobble about the screen... cheap sounding and annoying tune, and the computer is easily beaten.
The classic shoot-'em-up. Virtually enforced addiction as you attempt to clear the first ship.
Richard Petty's Talledega (Audiogenic)
This is an old game, and it suffers from flickery graphics and pretty feeble sound... but it remains pretty addictive and challenging.
The Great American Cross Country Road Race (Activision)
Not much to look at but offers some really challenging and addictive racing... Definitely one of the top three race games.
The graphics and sound of the game are really awful with terrible track perspective, flat tunes and unrealistic car control. Infinitely better racing games available.
Speed King (Digital Integration)
Speed King offers a great challenge, with brilliant bike feel, fast graphics and great sound... One of the best race games for the C64.
A curiosity played with paddles. However, it's now hopelessly outdated by the likes of Pitstop II and Speed King.
Although it's the official version of one of the most played arcade games it's now rather dated and there are some much better games out on the market.
