The current manager of Tottenham Hotspur F.C. has been seriously injured following a freak lawnmower-related incident. As part of a government initiative, that provides top positions for unemployed, Spectrum-owners with beards, you've now got the job. Are you up to the job? Or could Alan Sugar do better?

Team Players

Goalkeepers and defenders displayed in white, midfielders in blue and forwards in green.

After selecting a player, a screen showing the characteristics of that player will appear, showing:

1. Number of games played in current season
2. Number of games played in current club
3. Number of goals scored in current season
4. Number of goals scored for current club
5. Number of yellow cards (If a player gets four yellow cards, he will miss his next game)
6. Number of games which player will miss
7. Player's playing skills (varies from 0-200)
8. Player's fitness (varies from 0-99)
9. Player's yearly wage (Club pays wage every five matches (or every month))
10. Number of years signed in contract (When season ends, you can sign a new contract with players whose contracts have ended)

Club Stuff

After selecting this icon, a new screen will appear:

1. Club's first scout
   Select the club whose players you want to watch. After one week you can select any player from this club and examine his characteristics.
2. Club's second scout
   Select search criteria (talent or playing skills) and its value. After two or three weeks scout will find players you want.
3. Club's Doctor
4. Financial Report
5. Coach's Report
   Coach will inform you about field layers and about average level of defence, mid-fielders and forwards.
6. Match Preparation
   You can select field players manually or ask your coach to do this by selecting the "Coach" icon.
7. Transfer Market
   Transfers are allowed only in weeks 1-10 and 20-30.

Transfer Market

The transfer market presents a number of new icons:

1. Transfer List
   You can send 'First Scout' to examine players from the Transfer List and then buy the player and sign a contract.
2. Make An Offer For Player
   When your 'second scot' finds a player, you can make an offer for him to his current club.
3. Put On Transfer List
   Just select player you want to transfer listed or removed from transfer list and change his current status.
4. Save/Load Game

7. Next Week's Matches
8. Information About Players From Other Clubs
9. Info About Club's Next Match
10. Playing Matches
    You will see the final result, goal scorers, information about injuries, yellow and red cards.

Tips

1. Each player has a talent rating. A more talented player has a greater change to increase his skills in the mid-season.
2. Talented players must play in the main squad to improve their playing skills. The more games, the greater the chance skills will improve.
3. Injuries decrease playing skills.
4. If you run out of money, the bank will loan you $8,000,000. After six loans you will be bankrupt and the game will end.
5. When the season ends, you will see a final league table and all players that scored goals. You will be rewarded with $10,000,000 for winning the Premier League and $6,000,000 for winning the Premier League Cup. Then you can renew contracts with your players whose contracts have ended.
    
   Players will also ask you about pay rises. If you fail to offer one, they may accept the same or lower pay - or may move to another club!!
